Woman's Life Saved by Fellow Online Casino Player

One thing that players do not expect to do when quietly playing their favorite online casino games, is to save a life. This is exactly what happened to Nita Renee recently.

Nita Renee lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She got up in the middle of the night because she was having some trouble sleeping, and decided to play Canasta at her regular online casino. When Nita opened up her Canasta game, she saw that someone was asking for some help in a chat box on her screen.

While many might have discounted the plea for help as some kind of prank, luckily for an injured 70-year old woman, Nita took her seriously and asked her for her name and address and some other details. Nita then called emergency services who arrived in time to help the 70-year old woman, who had had the misfortune of her chimney crashing down into her living room, and falling directly on the chair where she was sitting. Her legs had been crushed beneath the heavy chimney. With no telephone nearby, the only way that she could work out how to get help was by using her computer.

The paramedics said that had Nita, all the way from Oklahoma, not taken the old lady seriously, there is not telling when she would have been found and helped. The 70-year old has already undergone two leg surgeries which should help to save the damaged limbs.

Nita Renee, a regular online casino player, has been hailed as a hero by the old woman's family. Nita, on the other hand, feels that she just happened to be in the right place at the right time, and that she simply responded to a plea for help, and did what needed to be done.
