On November 12th 2010, eWalletXpress simply seemed to disappear from a large number of online gambling sites in the United States. When the e-wallet processing company was questioned about their disappearance, they claimed that they were having "technical issues."

Of course, the "technical issues" were not resolved, because they simply did not exist. Later in November, eWalletXpress sent an email to their merchants, which read: "We regret to inform you that we are no longer able to continue service at this time due to a federal warrant issued to seize our funds."

While eWalletXpress is available in other locations, at this time, it will not be available to those online casino players and other online gamblers who are located in the United States. Those who are located in Canada can still use this e-wallet solution. The two options that used to be available were the "USA" and "Canada," however, now the USA option simply does not appear on the eWalletXpress website.

Even without an official statement, there are nevertheless details that have been coming out. Those who have been using eWalletXpress have been asking questions about the future of the e-wallet company, and what has been coming out sounds like a situation that will be somewhat similar to what happened with Neteller. A few years ago, Neteller, another e-wallet solution, exited the United States market in order to avoid being prosecuted by the US Federal authorities. It seems as if eWalletXpress may also leave the US market so that they, too, can avoid prosecution for processing online gambling transactions in the United States.

Those eWalletXpress users who still have funds with this e-wallet company, and would like to retrieve their funds, have been told to contact the company via email on payouts@ewalletxpress.com. However, there is no confirmation that doing this will in fact result in the funds being returned at this time. eWalletXpress officials have told their online gambling players that their money is safe in their accounts with the company. eWalletXpress has said that they will be able to transfer the necessary funds into the players' checking accounts at such a time as the "technical issues" are resolved.

For those who have money with eWalletXpress, it is most likely best not to expect to see the funds anytime soon. When Neteller finally paid their players' winnings out, it was about a year after the company had been in negotiations with the authorities. Each situation is of course different, and all that players can do now is to keep an eye on what is transpiring.
