The recreational facility had been adapted to temporarily form a hobbit habitat, which was the perfect way to showcase the incredible work done by those who created the new slot game, which has both incredible cinematic development work that went into it, and also contains brilliant graphic images from the movie.

Guests were given the chance to try the new slot game, which has taken nine months to be developed. The first game in the series is The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Rings, the second and third that are to be released at a later date are The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. Part of the launch included the guests competing for the highest score in the game. The three players with the top scores were given the opportunity to nominate local charities, which were given a £10,000 donation from Microgaming.
