SafeCharge International Limited is a leading Internet payment service provider, which is based in the Isle of Man. SafeCharge International Limited have announced that they will be exhibiting at the International Casino Exhibition Interactive (ICEi) 2009, due to take place this week.
The ICEi trade show forms a part of the International Gaming Expo (IGE). The exhibition will take place at the Earls Court Exhibition Centre, in London, for three days this week. The ICEi runs from Tuesday through to Thursday.
SafeCharge have announced that they plan to demonstrate how they can protect online businesses, including online casinos, from the financial crisis that is currently taking place on a global level. They do this by offering their clients more than one merchant account which includes a number of acquiring banks through the same payment service provider.
SafeCharge have said that they are hoping to use their appearance at the annual London-based trade show to let others know how they can spread the risks involved in card-not-present transactions for their online business operators. This will be shown through their own multiple-banking relationships.
Sharon Gal-Franko, the Marketing Director for SafeCharge explained that in this present economic climate, it can be quite risky to rely solely on acquiring only one bank. Gal-Franko poses the question "What would you do, for example, if with very short notice were you informed that your bank would no longer process online transactions that are industry-specific coded? What if they announced bankruptcy?"
Gal-Franko explains that not only would the site in question lose revenue, but they would also have to find a new acquiring bank in order to apply for a new merchant account. This would likely require new and different requirements to what they had previously needed.
Gal-Franko also noted that the financial recession has created a number of new economic breakdowns.
SafeCharge stated that they can fit the best bank at the right time, as they are a connected payment-service provider (PSP). They are able to fulfill the very specific processing needs of e-commerce operators because of the range of acquiring banks that they have in their portfolio.
SafeCharge explained that they would be prepared to replace one bank with another bank without bothering the online merchants on whose behalf they would be acting. They said that there is no additional application process for the clients.
Gal-Franko explained that SafeCharge is the needed PSP who are able to switch the online processing of their merchants to a different acquiring bank. Gal-Franko said that they ensure their clients "incessant processing activity by only one system integration, no additional handling, administrative fees or bureaucratic hardships.
Online gaming sites would obtain much benefit when using a system such as the one that SafeCharge International Limited offer their clients.
