Player Retention Strategies to Improve Online Casinos
July 12, 2011 | News Category: Online Casinos
Although online casinos know the importance of offering good customer service and great online casino games in order to keep their customers happy, there is always more that can be done to improve the playing experience that is offered. Even the best online casinos have some room for improvement.
This month, there is an online gaming conference that will be held in the America Square Conference Centre in London in the UK, with the theme being Player Retention Strategies for Online Gaming.
Topics that are going to be explored and discussed include the possible ways to make online casino customer service more efficient, effective communication with players, how it is possible to reduce the number of customer complaints, and the best strategies to increase player lifetime values.
While these topics are obviously being discussed to benefit the online gambling operators, they will have a direct affect on the online casino players in that the service, and possibly the offerings, from online casinos and other online gambling sites will be improved by all those online gambling sites that are making this a priority.
The Player Retention Strategies for Online Gaming website notes that there will be leading professionals from across the board of the Internet gaming spectrum. It notes that the aims include discussing the "common challenge" of how to retain players, and that the most recent issues regarding player retention and the various challenges that go with it, will be looked into. It is felt that the challenges that exist are seen in all online gaming sites, such as online casinos, online poker, online bingo, and online sports betting.
Some of the knowledgeable and well known speakers include Dominic Vye, the Head of Customer Loyalty at Sportingbet, Martyn Trebert, holding the position of Customer Insight at Netplay, Simon Collins, the Head of Research and Development for Party Gaming, Oliver Watkins, the Head of CRM at Rank Interactive, Michael Braga, the founder of Motive Marketing Services. Michael Braga used to be the Head of Marketing at Gamesys.
There will be discussions regarding the possibility of cross selling products in order to add variety for customers, and this would therefore make online gaming sites more attractive to players. Many online gambling sites already do this, by offering both online casinos and online poker, or online bingo and online casinos on the same site. The more an online gaming player is able to find what they are looking for on the online casino site that they have chosen, the less will be the need to sign up for other online casino sites.
