Steve Jobs, who used to be the Chief Executive Officer of Apple, recently passed away from an illness. He had resigned his position of CEO at Apple when his health no longer allowed him to continue, although he did continue to give his input to the company.

Recent developments at Apple brought the very popular iPhone, iPad, iPad2, and the iPod to consumers, and while Apple is not the only company that has made smartphones and tablet computers, the company certainly helped to increase the popularity of these exciting and user friendly mobile devices. In fact, Apple was not even the first to market the smartphone, however, the company did make them popular.

The iPhone, one of the favorite mobile gaming devices by those who use Apple products, was introduced in 2007. The iPhone has had a number of upgrades since it was released, and constantly has improvements that enable even better and smoother mobile gaming to take place.

With the launch of the iPad2, more and more online wagering apps can be found.

When Steve Jobs resigned his position as CEO, Tim Cook took over the position. At this time, there has been some speculation about what developments will come next. There is some talk about advancements connection to televisions, however, it is just speculation at this time.

Whether Apple continues to concentrate its efforts in the mobile device market, or goes onto another area, there are likely to continue to be many more developments and improvements for the iPhone and the iPad.
