The upcoming auction of Gambling.com has been in the news, however, it is not the only online gambling domain name that will be up for sale in the near future.

GamblingInvest.com has announced that they will be holding an auction for online gambling domain names at the end of this month. In fact, there will be about 2,000 online gambling domain names up for grabs.

The online gambling domain names that will be available include many types of online gambling domains, and not only online casino domain names. There will be domain names that can be used for online casinos, online poker rooms, and even online sportsbooks and online racing sites. Some of the names that will be offered in the sale are iGaming.us, JackpotNews.com, BookMakers.mobi, and many more.

The founder of GamblingInvest.com, Pierluigi Buccioli, noted that online gambling domain name selling is a lucrative business. He said: "Domain names in general and gambling domains in particular are an excellent investment."

One of the questions is whether the online casino domain names that end with .us will go for reasonable amounts or not. At this time, online gambling has not been regulated and legalized in the United States, which means that those companies who wish to buy those domains may or may not get to use them to their full potential anytime soon.

Buccioli explains that even with the recession, and the resulting economic crisis, the value of online gambling domain names have continued to rise in value. He suggests that those buyers that purchase these online gambling domain names now, will enjoy the benefits later, as they increase in value, as Internet gambling becomes legal and regulated in more and more locations worldwide.

In Buccioli's words: "Demand and prices for gambling domains have continued to go up in the last two years despite the economic crisis and recession, confirming that domains can be used to capture qualified Internet traffic, and to establish a company's identity online. They are also an excellent investment for buyers that are prepared to hold onto them for a few years as well as operators who develop domain names into web properties."

Those who wish to place a bid on one of the 2,000 online gambling domain names will be able to do so during the bidding time from January 26th 2011, and February 2nd 2011. The actual sale will be done through ProxiBid.com.
