Mobile Gaming to Use HTML5 Instead of Flash

The well known company, Adobe, who own and run the Flash player that is used for many online casinos and for many mobile casinos, have announced that they will no longer continue to develop the Flash interface for mobile casino gaming that is played on Android phones, and other smartphones too.
The company has announced, as some predicted that they would, that Adobe will continue to support the latest Flash release for some time, ensuring that security patches will be released, and any bugs in the program will be fixed, however, there will be no future releases of Adobe Flash for mobile devices.
Adobe has chosen instead, to use the HTML5 interface for mobile gaming. While there may be some concerns that there will no longer be the familiar Flash player used, mobile operators are positive about the change, since the HTML5 interface is a far more universal platform than Flash is. Larger mobile devices already use the HTML5 interface and it is considered to be far better as far as ease of development goes and the speed with which content can be delivered.
There have been some security issues that exist with the Flash program, but are avoided with the HTML5 program. This means that mobile gamers will now be offered more secure gaming than they had received in the past, making it a safer playing experience.
Danny Winokur, the vice president and general manager of Adobe's interactive development had the following to say: "HTML5 is now universally supported on major mobile devices, in some cases exclusively. This makes HTML5 the best solution for creating and deploying content in the browser across mobile platforms."
He further added: "We are excited about this, and will continue our work with key players in the HTML community, including Google, Apple, Microsoft and RIM, to drive HTML5 innovation they can use to advance their mobile browsers."
The Microgaming powered All Slots Mobile casino, has already begun the changeover, and will have released 20 games on the HTML5 platform by the end of this year. Eight of these games have already been released, and are being enjoyed by All Slots Mobile casino players.
Those who use mobile devices created by Apple and various other companies do not need to be concerned about the switch since these companies have already been using HTML5. Flash can still be used for desk top computers and laptop computers.
