On Tuesday November 23rd, the accounting company, KPMG, will be holding an e-gaming summit in the Isle of Man. The summit will be bringing together a number of the major players in the e-gaming sector, and will give the industry the chance to discuss the potential of the Isle of Man in the global marketplace.

The e-gaming summit will be held at the Mount Murray Hotel, and guests are invited by invitation only. Those that have been invited include decision makers, and key stake holders in the online gaming industry. The discussions will center around the issues of the Isle of Man continuing to be 'A Good Place to Play.'

The Development Minister of the Department of Economic Development on the Isle of Man, Allan Bell MHK will be giving the opening speech. While the program includes discussing some general issues that can impact the e-Gaming sector world wide, it will also concentrate specifically on the online gaming businesses that have been licensed in the Isle of Man, and operate from its borders.

Included in the program will be a panel workshop that will take into consideration the changing environment in the e-Gaming world, and other key issues connected with the industry. The Isle of Man Government's Gambling Supervision Commission and Department of Economic Development will also provide an update for the guests.

The afternoon session will focus on regulation in the online gaming sector, as well as responsible gaming, and new global developments, and the meaning of being an online gaming service provider to the gaming industry today. There will also be time available for guests to discuss any concerns or issues with the panel of speakers.

Once the conference is over, Microgaming will be hosting the entertainment, which means that the evening promises to be an entertainment filled one.

The KPMG director that is responsible for the Isle of Man's e-Gaming services, Russell Kelly, said: "The e-Gaming sector is expanding globally, and is already a major contributor to the Manx economy. It is crucially important that the Island continues to make itself an attractive jurisdiction for the licensing and operation of online gaming companies."

Kelly continued: "This involves input from the government, key industry players and service providers in finance, IT and a variety of other key sectors. This summit will bring those key players together to discuss the needs of the industry as it grows and develops."
