Between October 19th and 21st, the 9th Annual European iGaming Congress and Expo will be held at the Bella Center in Copenhagen. Currently, there are over 1,000 people that will be attending, with many well-known companies in the online gambling industry sending delegations.

There is much excitement as the date for the conference and exposition gets closer. Apart from the three days that will be packed with interesting talks, and advice from leaders in the industry.

The conference and exposition is in a good location in Copenhagen, Denmark. Those who wish to go into the center of Copenhagen will find that it is an easy eleven minutes away by the Metro station that is located at the Bella Center itself. The Bella Center is a modern and spacious, and comfortable congress facility. Arriving from the airport is also easy, since the European iGaming Congress and Expo is being held a mere five minute taxi ride from the airport.

This gaming event has been billed as the world's largest iGaming event. One of the main focuses at the event, and particularly topical at the moment, is the regulatory developments by governments in various countries. Those that are drawing much interest are the situations in France, and in the United States, both of which are being watched closely by the online gambling industry at this time. All eyes are still on France, watching how their new online gaming licenses are panning out, and the developments in the United States, on both a state level, and a national level are worth keeping an eye on too. There is also interest on Italy, and other countries that are currently adjusting or expanding their online gambling regulations.

The event director for the EiG Congress and Expo, Ewa Bakun, said: "With France recently issuing online gaming licenses, and Italy working on expanding their regulatory frameworks, the industry is looking closely which countries will follow suit, what regulatory models will be put in place and how this localized regulation will affect the global gaming industry. USA is another hot market, with California and New Jersey taking a lead in proposing bills that will regulate intrastate internet gaming."

Sponsors for the congress include some of the large online gaming software companies, such as Microgaming, CryptoLogic, Playtech, and OpenBet. Other companies, such as Betfair, and Bet365 will also be attending the congress.

The keynote speaker, Julie Meyer, who built up her own company, will be sharing her predictions for the future as an investor in new companies that will serve the next generation.
