EGR Awards for Top Online Gaming Software Providers

Microgaming, one of the top online casino software providers walked away with two of the top EGR magazine b2b awards. The well known software company received both the Innovation in Slots award, and the Poker Network of the Year award.

Microgaming had been short listed for five of the awards offered that were the Innovation in Slot Provision and Poker Network of the Year, which the company won. The other three on the short list were Poker Software of the Year, RNG Casino Supplier of the Year and Slot Provider of the Year.

Microgaming's Chief Executive Officer, Roger Raatgever, had the following to say: "We are delighted to receive two awards, naming the Microgaming Poker Network as the industry's Poker Network of the Year, and be recognized as an innovator in slot provision, particularly when up against such stiff competition."

He further commented: "Innovation and independent thinking have been central to our growth since the company was founded over a decade ago and these awards recognize the ability of our team to keep our brand at the cutting edge of the eGaming sector."

Playtech also took home two awards which were the Bingo Network of the Year award and the RNG Supplier of the Year award. The Bingo Network of the Year Award was won under Playtech's subsidiary's name, Virtue Fusion.

Mor Weizer, Playtech's Chief Executive Officer, enthused: "Winning EGR b2b Awards for two major product categories sends a significant message about the strength and capability of Playtech's products across the group. As a leading name in the industry, we were delighted to be recognized at this prestigious event and look forward to building on our success in the coming year."

Other companies that won awards include the following:

  • Dragonfish won the Best Bingo Supplier and Poker Software awards.
  • IGT won the Best Slots Provider award.
  • Neogames won the Best White Label Supplier.
  • Net Refer won the Best Affiliate Software.
  • Net Entertainment won the Innovation in RNG Casino Software.
  • Cozy Games won the Innovation in Bingo Software award.
  • Evolution won the Top Live Dealer Provider award.
  • Openbet won the award for the Best Sports Betting Provider.
  • Mfuse won the Best Mobile Technology Provider award.
  • Game Account won the award for the Tops in Skill Games.

The awards ceremony took place in London this past week. It was held at the Chelsea Football Club for this, its second year.
