Some details have been released about who bought the Danish online domain name, however, the buyer still wishes to remain anonymous. It is known that the online gaming company that purchased the domain name is based in Malta. It is also known that the new owner has plans to develop the website before launching it.

The site already has a lot of traffic that goes to it, with over three and a half million visitors per month reported, which means that it is one of the top generic online domain names that can be found throughout the Nordic countries.

However, having a high volume of traffic is not the only reason that the domain name was bought for such a high price. The reason that the time was right to sell this domain at this time is also most likely connected to the fact that the Danish government has recently liberalized the online gambling market in Denmark.
