Betsafe has become the 26th licensee to make a deal with CryptoLogic, the online casino software provider. CryptoLogic will be licensing their full online casino suite to the Malta-based online gambling operator, Betsafe. Betsafe has an expanding customer base of more than 250,000 players.

The casino hosting licensing agreement signed between the two parties is a three year agreement. This is the first time that Betsafe is offering a download online casino to their players. Betsafe will be able to benefit from CryptoLogic's promotional tools, as well as more than 200 games.

CryptoLogic's agreement with Betsafe makes them the exclusive supplier of any download casino gaming software that Betsafe will utilize during the time of the agreement. CryptoLogic receives recurring revenue from all the wagers that Betsafe's customers place.

Betsafe's customers will be able to install the CryptoLogic online casino software on their personal computers, and play the full suite of interactive and branded online games. Those that do not wish to download the software to their computers for any reason will also be able to play the full suite of non-downloadable instant play casino games, which are played through web browsers.

The games should be available to Betsafe's customers before the end of this year, 2009, at which time both Betsafe and CryptoLogic will begin to profit from the deal.

President and Chief Executive Officer of CryptoLogic, Brian Hadfield said "This is the first time Betsafe, one of the fastest-growing operators, has offered a download casino to its players. The agreement underlines CryptoLogic's credentials as a trusted partner with branded and innovative proprietary games and a technology platform that is second to none. In line with our strategy, this deal also provides us with greater penetration into the Scandinavian market and is a further significant step towards our goal of profitability and long-term growth."

The CryptoLogic casino that will be used by Betsafe's players will first use only the Euro for currency, and will be available in English, Swedish, Norwegian, and Danish. There will be an option to add other languages and currencies at a later date.

Henrik Persson, the Chief Executive at Betsafe said "We are delighted to sign this agreement with CryptoLogic." He continued to say that "Betsafe casino is committed to providing its customers with the best gaming experience available and this collaboration with CryptoLogic will help us achieve this goal."
