Realtime Gaming Software Review

Realtime Gaming (often referred to as RTG) online casino software was established in 1998. When the company began, it was created for the sole purpose of serving the online gambling industry by developing online gambling software. Their slogan, which still holds true today, is "Take Gaming Seriously."

Realtime Gaming has become well known and trusted in the online casino industry, and is one of the few larger online casino software providers that still allow their online casinos to accept bets from players in the United States.

Realtime Gaming is known for their fast working online casino software, and their quick downloads. Players can choose to play either by using the download version or they can make use of the Flash version via their web browsers.

Online casinos using this software have easily navigable lobbies. One of the features that players appreciate is that the software can remember which games the player plays the most, and offers a quick link to them right from the first screen that the player will see.

Graphics are crisp and clear, giving players the feel of playing at a gaming table in a land based casino. The sound quality in Realtime Gaming online casinos is more similar to that of arcade games, rather than being similar to a land based casino, which is often what other online casinos offer. Having said this, the sounds and graphics are certainly good enough to allow online casino players to enjoy their gaming experience and have the feel of a land based casino.

Realtime Gaming provides great management tools for their online casinos, as well as many other online casino software solutions. However, the online casinos decide for themselves which parts of the software they would like to use, and are not dictated to by the software provider. This is the reason that many of their online casinos still allow US players to sign up and play in RTG online casinos.

Online casinos that are run by RTG software are allowed to set their own payout percentages. However, this does not mean that these online casinos can cheat their players as the RTG software is audited by Technical Systems Testing (TST), who provide certification to online casinos to ensure that the results of the games are random.

Players cannot simply assume that any Realtime Gaming online casino is similar to another one, which means that each of their online casinos will need to be checked out separately. Not all RTG online casinos will be licensed, and RTG does not assist players if they have any problems with one of their online casinos. RTG simply provides software to those that are willing to buy it, without regulating it in any way.
