Online Casino Payout Figures

Online casinos often display the payouts that were made on a specific date, usually the day before the current date. These figures bring up a few questions. What are online casino payout figures, and what do they really mean? These are two interesting questions that can easily go along with another: Is this a true reflection of payouts that were made on any given date?

What are Online Casino Payout Figures?

Online casino payout figures are simply the totals of how much money the online casino has paid out to their players at any given time. As explained above, many online casinos, in order to encourage both their veteran players to play more, and also to encourage new players to sign up with their online casinos, will publish the amount of money that was won at their online casino the day before. Some may publish how much money was won at their online casino for the week before, or for any other time period although most online casinos prefer to publish how much was won each day.

What Do Online Casino Payout Figures Mean?

Online casino payout figures are simply the collection of the data, which shows all the payouts, both large and small that have been won at an online casino.

Are Online Casino Payouts a True Reflection of Daily Payouts?

Online casino payouts that online casinos publish on their websites as the figures of payouts that were made the day before are both true, and somewhat misleading. The online casinos, as least reputable online casinos, publish results that are technically correct, and nobody could accuse them of lying. However, these figures include both large and small payouts that happen throughout the day at the online casino. If a player won 50c, this would be added toward that total of the previous day's payouts, just as when a player wins $500. However, in most cases, when a player wins just 50c, or another small amount, they usually play that money right back into the online casino. Perhaps the money will turn into more winnings, and perhaps not.

If the money does turn into more winnings, both the initial 50c win will be included, and whatever the next win is, including the original 50c. While this is true that both of these amounts were actual winnings that were won at the online casino on the day in question, they do not form part of the total amount of money that left the online casino's coffers on that day. If players use their winnings to keep playing, and do not win again, then the actual amount of money that players "took home" will be less than the amount of all winnings added together.
