When players choose to play any game at an online casino, they should become familiar with the odds before they start to place real money wagers. With Baccarat, it is easy for players to learn the odds since there are just three betting options that are provided. In addition to looking at the odds that are offered, players should also learn the house edge for each of the bets that are offered. This will help them choose the best bet for the chance to collect payouts from the game.

The house edge with Baccarat games online are pretty decent, so players with experience and knowledge of the game can make wise decisions and benefit from these lower edges. Baccarat offers a lower house edge than many other casino games. The Banker bet has a house edge of just 1.04% and the Player bet has an edge of 1.24%. The tie bet, which is best avoided whenever possible, comes with a very high house edge of 14.36% and is often considered a sucker bet.

The actual edge can vary slightly in different casinos, so players should always check these before they choose an online Baccarat game. Now that players understand the house edge, they can take a look at the odds when playing the game. For the banker hand, players will have 50.68% odds, so there is a great chance of winning. With this bet, players will be betting that the banker hand has a value closer to 9 than the Player hand. This bet does come with a 5% commission free, but there is a higher chance of winning.

With the player bet, the chance of winning is 49.32%, which is still a pretty good opportunity for real money players. There is not a huge difference in the odds between this bet and the banker bet, but the banker bet is known to win three to four times more than when bets are placed on the player hand. This is why casinos will charge the commission on the banker bet.

The tie bet is a different animal and while it offers amazing payouts of 8:1, it comes with poor player odds. In fact, players will have an 84% chance of losing this bet when it is placed, which is why most players will always avoid placing a tie bet in Baccarat.
